NEW CARLISLE - The New Carlisle Newts once again fell short of the Hometown Cup Finals, falling to The M.O.B. in the Elite Eight on Sunday afternoon.
Wiffletown's team consisted of Garrett Curless, Koby Keck, Anthony Rieff, Sam Bull, and Noah Shail.
The Wiffle®Ball Championship drew a record 100 teams despite a miserable weather weekend of downpours, thunderstorms, and humidity.

I read the New Carlisle Newts update about Still Seeking Migley and it really showed how tough the Newts’ season was, especially falling just short in the Elite Eight after a long series of wins and losses in tough weather. It felt like watching a local team fight really hard even when things didn’t go their way. Last semester when I had too many tasks I had to outsource blog writing so I could finish a big writing assignment while I studied for tests, and that really eased my stress. It reminded me that a bit of help can make hard work easier.
