NEW CARLISLE - For the fifth time in franchise history, the New Carlisle Newts are champions of the Old Republic Wiffle®Ball League.

The Newts defeated the Maple City Magic, 4-2, in the best of seven World Series to capture New Carlisle's second crown in three years.

Noah Shail was named ORWBL World Series MVP.

After the Newts fell short in The Wiffle®Ball Championship Game at Hometown Days, clinching the league title was fitting finale for Migley Field's Farewell Season.®Ball
