Newts sweep Granger, advance to NLCS

NEW CARLISLE - Migley Field lives on for at least another week.

The New Carlisle Newts swept the Granger Panthers, 15-9 and 17-16, in the National League Division Series on Sunday.

New Carlisle will face the Olive Township Mechanics in a best of five National League Championship Series on Sunday, August 23.
