Newts eliminated in NLDS

NEW CARLISLE - The title defense has come to an end in New Carlisle.

Mishawaka swept the Newts, 13-7 and 6-5, in a best of three National League Division Series on Sunday afternoon at Migley Field.

Mishawaka will face Granger next weekend in the National League Championship Series.

New Carlisle’s ORWBL season and wiffle ball at the Friendly Confines has come to a close for 2025. The Newts will conclude the summer at the World Wiffleball Championship in Crown Point, Indiana, August 16-17.
