Kody Webb got the scoring started for New Carlisle with a solo shot in the first, but Ruiz would tie it in the second inning with an RBI single.

In the fourth, Shupert and Webb went back to back and New Carlisle took a 3-1 advantage, which was again answered by Ruiz with a home run to cut it to a one-run game.

Soos played insurance man again, belting a two-run, two-out homer in the sixth to make it 5-2. Shail followed up with a two-run blast, and Shupert added another solo shot for good measure.
