NEW CARLISLE - The New Carlisle Newts (6-6) will continue a 12-game homestand on Sunday afternoon, hosting the Hudson Lake Heat at 1:20pm ET.
After playing the past six seasons in the American League, Hudson Lake (1-11) has been rudely greeted by the Senior Circuit, finding themselves in last place thus far.
For the Newts, it has been a tale of two ballparks on the homestand. The home opener saw just two runs in 40 innings by the home team, while last week's eruption plated 71 runs in a three-game sweep.
Aidan Cotter returns after a one-week absence and is listed as the Newts probable starting pitcher for all three games of the series.
LAST WEEK:
New Carlisle swept Warren, 26-6, 13-5, 32-7
Hudson Lake was swept by Twin Branch, 15-2, 10-4, 7-4
