Hometown Heartbreak Again

NEW CARLISLE - For the second consecutive year, the New Carlisle Newts failed to advance past the Sweet Sixteen of the Hometown Cup Playoffs. The Newts fell victim to another walk-off home run, this time at the hands of Wiffle Dees in extra innings.

The hometown squad consisted of Garrett Curless, Koby Keck, Anthony Rieff, Joey Schuster, and Noah Shail.

The Wiffle®Ball Championship drew a record 96 teams in its 20th year.
